Review: Find Me by Romily Bernard

Pages: 307
Published by: HarperTeen
Release date: September 24, 2013
Borrowed from: Pittsburgh Public Library

From Goodreads: These are the words written on Tessa Waye’s diary. The diary that ends up with Wick Tate. But Tessa’s just been found . . . dead.
Wick has the right computer-hacking skills for the job, but little interest in this perverse game of hide-and-seek. Until her sister Lily is the next target.
Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick. Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?
Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare.
But she’s going to find this killer no matter what.
Because it just got personal.

I have to admit that I waited for this book to come out for a long time. I mostly remember getting this book confused with If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch and even though they both caught my attention, I was more excited for this one for some reason. Anyway, I went into Find Me with high expectations and it did not disappoint. This book pulled me in super quickly and kept me hooked until I was done. I did sleep in between two sittings, but with college and all, it normally takes me much longer than two sittings to finish a book.
It's so hard to explain exactly why I loved this book so much. I was on page 90 before I even realized what a page turner it was. It was also incredibly intense and while I was reading it, it was like I couldn't take a full breath until I finally finished. I had no idea who the killer was. I was very surprised when I found out. I loved Wick's character and I loved how damaged she was without really showing it. And it was so sexy! My gosh, it got seriously steamy and I loved it so much! I wish we got to see a little bit more of her relationship, but I suppose that will be in the sequel? Fingers crossed!

Have you read this book yet? What did you think about it? Is it on your tbr list? Let me know!
